Preparation of health-promoting menus for children’s educational institutions
Catering menus intended for children in pre-school, general educational institutions and social care institutions are prepared and coordinated according to the requirements of Order No V-964 of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania as of November 11, 2011 ‘Regarding the confirmation of the schedule of procedures of the organisation of children’s catering in pre-school, general educational institutions and social care institutions’ (Schedule of procedures of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania).
The coordination procedure of the menus is defined in Order No B1-610 of the SFVS directive as of June 22, 2015 ‘Regarding the confirmation of the schedule of procedures of the organisation of menus in children’s education institutions, social care institutions and recreation camps’.
Services provided:
- We prepare individual health-promoting menus for pre-school, general education institutions and children’s social care institutions, coordinate them with the SFVS according to Order No-964 of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania “Regarding the confirmation of the schedule of procedures of the organisation of children’s catering in pre-school, general educational institutions and social care institutions’.
- We consult company and institution specialists regarding the preparation of menus and recipes that are suitable for vegetarians, vegans and people with food intolerances as well as those with allergies
- We instruct production and service personnel to prepare, provide and label health-promoting meals in menus
- We carry out refresher courses for cooks and dieticians , providing them with practical and health-promoting food production activities
